www.SAE-UK.org is pleased to announce the launch of the interactive website to support this publication online at www.vehicletechnology.org

and our aerospace publication also www.defenceintegration.org

Additionally, we have launched our own SAE-UK.org Future Concepts Program at www.mobdom.org.uk

And lastly but with greatest pride, a site dedicated to our schools program aimed at teaching young children engineering

The last 2 years have been a real challenge. Converting SAE-UK into the family of activities surrounding and including SAE-UK.org may sound like adding a full stop and a few letters but it constitutes a real change in the prevailing business culture, which isn't easy. Along the way we have picked up all kinds of useful lessons about the way the Society of Automotive Engineers works around the world. Moreover, we have through our participation with prestigious events UK-wide added to our business intelligence about how the UK works too.

I've seen for myself the training needs within the European Automotive and Aerospace Industries and I've also seen the barriers to change that come from an old way of doing things. I've seen the areas of industry that are booming and I understand and wish to convince others that right now the UK is an exciting place for scientific and engineering excellence. I have tried to make this edition of VehicleTechnology.org a testimony to that. Judge us on our content and achievements.

It is with great pride that I am able to announce that our longstanding Publications and Charitable activities have become entities in their own right with their own sites as shown above. This is more than just new sites, many thousands of e-mail updates pour forth from them, backed up by a call centre to communicate our message.
