Vehicle Automated Testing - a full portfolio of standard and specialised Road Simulation Chassis Dynamometer systems for all vehicle test applications including:
• Emission and fuel economy testing to international standards
• Fully integrated, automated test systems including Robot driver, auto fuel filling, airspeed simulation fans and data acquisition - for endurance and powertrain development
• Climatic (-40ºC to =60ºC), Windtunnel and
Environmental (inc altitude) testing
• Special “low noise” designs for N.V.H. testing in Semi Anechoic Chambers.
All systems are available for single axle (4x2), twin axle (4x4) or “all independent configuration (4x4 independent).
Automatic Robot driver systems Froude Hofmann's advanced robot driver adds extensive flexibility and test capability to the test facility. Providing full control of all the vehicle's functions the system will drive the vehicle, under simulated road conditions, to defined legislative cycles, customer specific schedules or replay “real world” Jourmey recordings. The system utilises advanced technology and control
techniques to meet the high demands of endurance testing with the precision of control for exhaust emission and performance testing.
